History
Volkswagens have always been part of my life.
I had happy memories being driven around in my mum's beetle as a small child.
My first car was a 1963 beetle and although it was a bomb it was great fun and I loved her. I always wanted to restore her but family took priority and I had to sell her.
Around 2008 Mum and I were at the VW car show in Yarrra Glen and spotted Vera across a crowded paddock.
It was love at first sight. We met the owner Randolph who had done a lovely job restoring her and not long later the deal was done.
She is now a part of my life and my family adore her.
