I have had this vehicle for only a year now.
A ragtop has been a very desirable beetle for me and when this came up with so little rust in it I jumped at the chance to own it.
Modifications
Now fitted with a 1998cc engine and IRS gearbox on a King and Link / IRS pan. 72mm Scat ultra lightweight crank with 94mm Wiseco piston connected with Carrillo rods.
Twin 48 dellorto tri-jets, 11:1 compression, wedgeport heads, CB Eagle 2300 camshaft .602" lift,
JPM pushrods and springs, Scat 1.4:1 rockers, 1 7/8 CSP python exhaust. Built by Matt Berry
