While the valiant was being restored I needed a way to get around in high school. Was visiting my dad's friend who is an absolute bike nut (well over 80+ bikes around his house, laundry, living room, bedroom....) who had just finished putting together this little Suzuki. Great starter bike with a vintage look, a nice little growl from the twin and pretty farking slow (they carried a bit of weight).
When first learning you couldn't keep me off her. As soon as I was home from school I was straight on and roaring up and down the street, I'm sure the neighbours didn't mind.
Still have little Suzie and is the most unbreakable bike I've ever come across. On club rego now and driven regularly on weekend runs and the occasional tour (yep, its slow but you're guaranteed to arrive... eventually). I always apologise to her for those grinding gear shifts back when starting out.
