History
Was bought new by one of my fathers friends in QLD. Disappeared for a decade or more before my uncle acquired it and sat in a farm garage for a few more years. Was up visiting the farm when I was 15yo and found it sitting under a bunch of old blankets gathering dust. Pretty much fell in love straight away and bought it for $800.
Towed it back home on the back of trailer with my dad where we spent the next few years restoring her. New floor plan (old had completely rusted through), removed the trim and smoothed out the profile, + jelly bean mags, some plush pile carpets and a set a fluffy dice to complete the resto. Engine was strong and had a lovely burble.
Still think about the old girl and the times spend with dad in the shed through high school. If I ever see her again I'll pay whatever is asked and have her for weekend drives with my kids.
Never lose your first love.
Modifications
Jelly bean mags (6 slot front, 5 slot back), straight pipes, lowered springs, restored interior (matched the original style, keep much of the original trim).
