Memories
This was our only Family car of a family of 5 . There is no better car for long trips for 3 boys to play Lego and full sized board game in the back doing 1400 kms per day . We could sleep when ever we wanted . The engine was a reliable v8 253 with a 4 speed . The van was driven up to cook town when the roads all dirt (MUD i mean ) We camped on the beach in it . We Drove it up creeks with water over the gear stick knob. It was a well made car built correctly to endure hard work . This photo is the Panelvan having a rest after filling up fuel just after towing that caravan up the karanda range near CAIRNS when it was a dirt track .
