History
Brought this vehicle back in 1999 as an atlas grey vn ss. After a few years of small mods and a freak accident, I decided the car deserved a complete overhaul. The first stage of the modification saw the paintwork and body kit fitted and the interior cleared out. After a few years like this I decided I wanted to join the twin turbo band wagon and started building a setup for the car.
Modifications
As it stands the car houses a fully balanced stroked 333ci Holden V8 with a custom inlet manifold and two T3 turboes (lifted from the VL 6 cyl). The clutch is a sprung ceramic puck clutch pushed onto a lightened flywheel. The gearbox is a stock issued T5 but in order to keep it together the bearing housings were replaced with custom Bizzalloy (the material used to make the teeth on excavator buckets). The diff is still a Holden borg warner unit, but with VL 3.45:1 crown and pinion and a Lokka centre. Front brakes are AP racing rotors and modified Toyota Landcruiser 4 spot callipers. Interior houses an Alpine stereo system, Cobra daytona race seats, RPM harnesses, black and orange trimmings. Boot is home to a 120ltr drop tank, Holly blue as a lift pump and an Aeromotive A1000 main pump. 1/2" fuel lines all round.
