History
Original a CRB patrol ute, sold by Allan Capp Holden Wangaratta to the CRB Benalla office.
Basically a "poverty pack" Belmont, 161HC motor, 3sp all synchro box, 4 wheel drums(no power assistanc) bench seat, front sunvisor BUT its got a Deluxe heater package, WOW!
As it was the case, the CRB sold it off at about 20,000miles to private ownership. I think it went through about 3 owners (two I have met) until it arrived with me.
Its been a great ute to me and has gone everywhere, even to 4 Deni ute musters. Its only required basic repairs during my ownership, things like a starter motor and a radiator but nothing major. Just done up the front end, new upper and bottom ball joints and all new tie rod ends so it should be ok for a few more years to come!!
Got a few plans for it, the paint needs a freshen up but dont want to go too radical on it. something that can be reversed if I want to take it back to stock if I choose.
I reckon it will look real sweet sitting low on 6" rims, redline tyres and GTS hubcaps. Hmm that gets me thinking!!!
