History
My first car, I did a lot of work on this car! Dad found it abandoned at a Melbourne train station, It was an 1300 auto. $50. This was before Ebay. I also had a red mark one that was a 1300 manual but was full of rust. So make one car out of two. I loved it so much I now pinch myself as to why I got rid of her! Used to love throwing it sideways around roundabouts and drag off nobs in the POS Holden Vl Crappodores at traffic lights. Then again what P plater didn't like doing those things!!!
Modifications
Evo1:It was a 1300 single barrel carbie 4 speed.
Evo2: Installed a 2 barrel weber on it and extractors. A set of factory bathurst globe mags (as pictured!)
Evo3: 1600 installed, with Mark 2 running gear. Half roll cage.
then sold to dad to buy my 94 Magna.
I thank my dad for all his help and tones of experience with small Fords, Cortinas and Escorts.
It is now in my dad's friends safe hands, she now has a 2 litre with twin webers. I reckon it would be worth now hmm $15000!!!
