History
In original condition, an Australian delivery vehicle with full service history/Log Book; 65K kms recorded to date. Car based on the BMW Z3 M roadster (E36-7). The coupe was developed with intention of adding both increased torsional & structural rigidity to the Z3 M roadster’s chassis. It is 2.7 times stiffer than the convertible counterpart, resulting in superior handling. One of only 989 (45 Aust./NZ delivered) right hand drive M coupes produced from 08/1998 to 05/2002.
This vehicle is powered by BMW’s S50B32 M3 Evolution engine of 3201cc capacity, being fitted with Dual Vanos variable valve timing. Maximum developed power of 321bhp (236kW) @ 7400rpm & torque of 258lb/ft (350Nm) @3250rpm. Compression ratio11.3:1 with 98 octane Premium Unleaded fuel required.
Equipped with an ’air cooled’ LSD with 25% ’lock factor’ & ABS brakes. The last of BMW’s "true sports cars"; not equipped with any ’traction controls’ or ’electronic stability controls’; only ’speed limited’ to 250kph!
