History
Manufactured early 1983 and purchased from Frasers. I am second owner having owned the bike for the last 17 years. It is in fact 3 bikes in one. I can ride it as an original MHR, in race replica trim as shown in photo, or with a bikini SS fairing in MHR colours. My wife calls it "Barbie" because it has so many changes in clothes. i call it "Red Fury"
Modifications
Purchased in original trim at 4k klm after being stored in a garage for 15 years. But because bike hadn’t been ridden everything had to be fixed, replaced, or cleaned. All seals, cables, tyres, rubber fixtures, carbies etc etc had all suffered. Motor has been reworked for unleaded fuel, Imola cams installed, coils increased in spark to make kick starting easier. Body work changed to NCR fairing, fibreglas tank with clear stripe, single seat with race replica stickers added. Bike is road going and has now done 70k klms and toured around Aust. I love it.
