History
Started the build in 2004 and finally hit the road in September 2011. Always wanted a 5 window coupe since I saw American Graffiti as a teenager. Shame it took so long.
Modifications
Has Rod City Disc Brake Independent front end. Parallel Four bar with pan-hard rod rear end. 9" Ford diff with 3.7:1 Traction Lock.
GM 4L60E fully computerised tranny. Has been beefed up with extra clutches, steel drums etc. Runs a 3000 stall convertor with convertor lock up. 2000 RPM @ 100kph. Pro shift shifter.
Engine is HSV GTO Coupe 4 - 300i. Runs an Edelbrock XT Pro manifold and throttle body. 1.75 primary headers with dual 2.5 manderal bent exhaust with X.
Dynoed at 420HP out of the box with more to come with new tune. Has run 185 kph on the limiter (6100) in third. Runs easy 12’s over the quarter in street trim. Not the fastest car but it does everything I want t to.
