History
I've retired now and we want to do a lap of Australia. I'm not an off-road type of driver, but thought an all wheel drive vehicle might be handy. I also wanted a vehicle to take a heap of camping gear for an extended trip, hence the wagon body. I hate SUVs, but now I have one. Don't like Toyotas because they are sooooo boring. But now I have my first Toyota. Bought for $21500 from Singleton Toyota during the pandemic. They drove it down for me during a lockdown and left it in a carpark for me with the keys in it. Good thinking. We've driven it to and around South Australia for 5300 klms for a month and I have to admit it is somewhat comfortable, quiet and reliable so far. Hopefully after doing the lap I can sell it and make a buck and buy something nice again.
