Bought brand new from Trivetts in Alexandria in October 2008 for $27100. Used it as my daily driver till December 2011 when I sold it to a bloke who couldn't get finance for it. So I arranged a loan for him through BMW finance and sold it for $21500. I really enjoyed owning and riding this Harley.
Everyone knew all about it and told you what they knew wherever you went.
Things like, "Harleys break down all the time."
My answer, "no they don't, I've never had any trouble with it."
Or, "Harleys leak like a sieve."
My answer, "No they don't. This one has never leaked a drop."
Another pearler, "Harleys don't handle."
Me: "Ever ridden one mate?" Their answer was always - no.
Just by the way, my son looks better on the Harley than I do.
