Ever since Gran Turismo 1 i have always wanted to own the Mitsubishi GTO.
Many cars later, a nice one came up for sale on Carsales and decided to take the plunge and buy one.
Great car to drive, but if i had a con to mention, despite the 4 wheel drive (and 4 wheel steer) you could definitely feel the weight shift about in any moderate windy sections of road.
I loved the car and it did have its flaws, such as 1/2 boost during warm weather, bumper paint difference and a faulty temperature gauge.
I wasn't fussed with how complicated the car was mechanically but being my daily driver at the time combined with the constant spotting of the paint difference and driving a Friends Mx5 and having just as much fun in it caused me to sell the car.
I do regret selling this one, if i had spent the money to get the paint corrected and had a daily driver, i think i could still be enjoying this car to this day.
