History
Documented history goes back to mid-70s when it was purchased by a Nissan dealer in southern Sydney and used as a display in the showroom and driven only occasionally with regular mechanical maintenance. Then in 2008 sold to private owner in the Wollongong area and only driven on Sundays when it wasn't raining. Purchased by current owner in 2015 and has had considerable work done including a respray and used mainly for Jaguar Club events in and around Townsville and North Queensland. Current mileage just over 63,000 miles and is probably the only Jaguar of this age which doesn't drop oil. Still a few more little jobs to be done - roof lining - a few of the spokes need replacing - do the little jobs ever really end? Have loved these cars and the Mark IIs since I was an early teenager - finally got hold of one when I retired. Great retirement project and huge learning curve.
