I bought this car on ebay in NZ about 8 years ago. I asked the vendor about the cars ownership and he looked up the original papers and told me that I had sold the car 40 years previously. I never dreamed that i would get my old car back. After a lot of work I have reupholstered the complete inteiror and repainted the car by myself.. I also converted the motor for lpg . We did a trip from Perth to Forbes to attend a rally for Austins over Australia. We covered just over 8000 miles and the car cruises comfortably at 50/ 60 mph.
