Bought brand new in 1982 by my father-in-law from local Kawasaki dealer. It was left to my wife as she grew up on it from the age of ten. We have spent over ten years getting it all back together using new old stock original Kawasaki parts.
Modifications
Re-Jetted factory CV carbies and K&N pod air filters. Exhaust is four into two as original was without the crossover pipe.
This was the first model Z650 released with CV carburettors and painted front guard. The red-line for this model was raised from 9000rpm to 9500rpm
