History
Started life as a white Fairmont Ghia, was stripped and painted, built 5.0 with ported and milled GT40P heads and intake, 80mm throttle body, 250HP Nos wet kit, Comp roller cam and MSD upgraded ignition. 19” late model F6 wheels and BF XR8 steel bonnet bulge was installed and a home built front bumper with twin element carbon fibre splitter. Rear wing was a high F6 version made to fit. 15kg blue bottle with warmer and electric solonoid valve was hidden in a boot mounted Sub enclosure.
Modifications
Lots to make it go a bit quicker to its speed limiter. Bonnet grill had a honeycomb metal grill insert installed and the bonnet frame was partially removed to facilitate a good cold air induction system. The same black powder coated honeycomb material was use above the carbon fibre splitters.
