History
This has been a Long term resto project. I bought the car on Boxes. All complete. ( Well about 1/2 was there) The Car has a history and is the Unit that Bill Gates raced in the early 60's. I have always admired the Apple green team rally cars that were run in Europe in early 60's So I painted it in Apple green. Only recently I came to realise that I am not really the owner of this car but its custodian, and as such I probably should have painted it in the original White as Bill drove it. But it was so butchered when I bought it and had been Red, Orange and its ( Then) dark blue that I thought Bill Gates would understand. However it will be running twin Webbers and an Isky grind cam as it was in its day.
Modifications
Colour Change to Apple Green, 5 1/2 inch steel rims, Extractors and 1 1/2'' exhaust, fed by twin 45mm Webbers, and an Isky cam. It will run modern LED headlights, most of the rest will be pretty much as the factory built it.
