History
I bought the car in September 2015 in Melbourne and trucked it to Perth. The previous owner used it once a month and had it for 3 years. He bought it from an old Croatian bloke who got it for his 50th birthday many years ago, I'm assuming that was around when the car was imported into Australia from the UK in 1985. Due to its early journey to Australia she has very little rust, a strong feat for an EU E12 BMW as most of these were completely scrapped.
It was my daily drive for a year, now I rest it in the garage for weekends. Only using new OEM or used original parts to replace worn out parts, and only tasteful modifications to improve performance and aesthetics. It has now done 154,000 miles, I am trying not to let it creep too much above that. This was my sixth BMW and my favourite so far! It is estimated that there are less than 100 of these left in the world, and about 4 in Australia.
