History
Purchased the car in 2010 (Bendigo Vic.) moved to Windsor Sydney 2011 & de registered for restore. Sept/ 2011 while working under car on rear end, concrete collapsed and set the car off balance, I was pinned under car drivers side with the muffler in my neck, r/h/s, 1/2 axle on my left shoulder and crushed both collar bones and cracked pelvis, managed to work a small trolley jack with left leg to get the weight off me and scramble out > hospital, lots of metal in body > recovered ok & resumed restore about 3 months later.(yes there was plenty of heavy duty floor stands but only takes one to loose it’s footing and it’s all worthless).
gutted the interior, only original upholstery left are the seats, did all the upholstery myself including sewing up new dash & parcel shelf mats, new stereo system, replaced the usual busted jag switches, renewed 25% of wiring. carried out all mechanical repairs including pressing those pesky rear wheel bearings out/in.

Modifications
electronic ignition, remote central locking, exterior mirror passenger side (imported a left hand drive mirror from the US complete for 1/3 of the local price), removed auto choke system & fitted manual choke with fast idle. (XB ford choke cable works perfect for this)
