History
This is my pride and joy purchased from a 90yo man in the central coast for $300 who was reluctant to even take that much for it in 2018 when the bike was was purchased it was a non runner and being that it came with the original number plate it was registered with I quickly learnt that the bike had been off the road since 1999 and stored ever since and was imported by bikebiz from japan in 1998 it showed signs of a clear fall and had plenty of work to be done, over the course of 2 years I had poured my heart into this bike and every time I came close to getting her on the road she fought back and spent more time under the tools by the begining of the 3rd year she had earned the name Jolene given to her by my partner ("Jolene Jolene Jolene I'm begging of you please don't take my man") due to the countless hours spent getting her back to road worthy condition by March 2021 her wheels had hit the pavement for the first time in 20 years and the smile was ear to ear the sound of the classic inline 4 250cc screaming at 18,000rpm let my entire street know that Jolene was out feeling the road under her shoes once again. I will happily admit that given it being a show and shine the plastics are not perfect they have there scratches and imperfections but in all due respect she still shines like new and the battle scares she carries tell a story of her past and I just couldn't bring myself to replace them beyond that everything is completely genuine and original. I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read about Jolene's little adventure and giving me an opportunity to show off the pop! She still brings to the party even after being 30+ years old!
