History
Hi all! This is my 2003 build Mitsubishi Magna VR-X Limited Edition.
Purchased from the original owner of 21 years with roughly 97,000km on the clock, I picked this gem up back in late February of 2024, intending to use it as a fun daily driver, as my father also owned a 2004 Mitsubishi Magna TL AWD, influencing my purchase.
This car however was way to nice to daily drive! With the body and
original paint being way too straight and clean. So I've only taken it out on weekend drives when the weather was good, or nice occasions here and there. otherwise, its been kept inside away from the elements to retain its quality and true beauty.
During my ownership of my Magna, I got curious in the first month, and decided to contact MMAL and find out the confirmed build numbers of my car in its spec E.G(does it have a sunroof? is it manual? does it have the leather interior? and, is it a flame red VR-X?) Surely enough a week later, they responded with an email.
Confirming that my car is a 1 of 3 in existence to ever be made and sold in its spec, Ever. Not too bad hey!
I Have also attached a picture of one of the original sale brochures for these cars that I own in real life, showing all the bits that these 'limited edition' spec vehicles came with!
This car already being a rarity with how good condition it was and the fact it was a limited edition that was stock, with its original Koni shock absorbers, limited edition black and silver leather steering wheel, original Ralliart Enkei Wheels and original spare! I knew i had to look after it, hold onto it, do the right thing by the car and do all needed and preventative maintenance to it, to make sure it was truly an all round A+ Vehicle, Mechanically and Visually.
Fast forward to the present, and this car is still going strong and breaking necks when I drive it to events, for a first car I've had so much fun with it, from the early morning cars and coffee's, to my being driven and arrival in it for my year 12 formal, it has been such a blast.
Although it is bone stock, I truly love it to bits and enjoy every moment driving it, truly a one of a kind car, with a 1 of a kind history ;)
