The grown up car.
Bought for long weekend trips to Sydney or Melbourne - in January 2020! Life had other plans, and so far the farthest it has been is Clare, about 120km North of here.
Three UK owners from 2001 to 2013. Looked after by Pugsley & Lewis and then Nicholas Mee after it left the dealer network, so it’s a good one. Coils and major (45,000 mile) service done, just approaching 42,000 miles as at March 2022. The poor old thing is now gently falling apart but, honestly, there are few more relaxing ways to travel, and the understated cool factor is great. Quality never goes out of style, and this car is timeless. The mesh grilles, round rear lights and the colour are just so evocative…you may not like it, but that is definitely your problem not mine. ��
Modifications
None. Apart from the rear lights - an original, hand made,£3,500 option on a £100,000 car. The quality endures long after the price is forgotten.
