History
Purchased in Adelaide early 2011 as a project basis to create the 1964 Monte Carlo rally winning vehicle driven by Paddy Hopkirk (33 EJB). Driven from Adelaide to Hobart via ferry and then stripped down to start replica creation. Currently in pieces awaiting engine rebuild, paint strip and respray and interior work. Currently aquiring parts to make into rally replica.
Modifications
Originally a 1963 (sliding window) Morris Mini 850. Has had 1275 motor installed by previous owner but NOT the disc brake conversion. This will be done prior to putting back on the road. There will also be twin carbs, extractors with sport exhaust, large capacity radiator ( to prevent current overheating problems) and rally accessories.
