Paid $100 in 1971 and sold it six months later for $250 and nearly got knocked over in the rush of buyers.
Modifications
One steel door, one alloy door, MGB wire wheels, Austin Lancer engine, none of the guages worked, no soft top. A rough old thing, but a massive ton of fun and it set me on the path of owning lots of convertibles.
