Car was originally sold new by Morley Ford in Victoria and stayed in Vic until driven to WA by a subsequent owner in 1982. I purchased the car in late 1982 in WA and have owned it ever since. The car was originally Diamond White, but under went a colour change to French Blue in the mid 90's when a small amount of rust was also repaired in the normal Capri places. The motor is still the original and was still a standard bore until two tears ago when it underwent a complete rebuild. Unfortunately the car was stored in a garage in Perth for some 8 years in the early 2000's as work and family commitments didn't allow me to spend any time with it, and it did sustain some minor cosmetic damage. We now reside in the SA Riverland and in my retirement I'm bringing the car back to its former glory. Luckily apart from the colour, driving lights and wheels the car is completely original, I am in the process of sourcing some original wheels and lights which will only leave the colour as the only non original component. I enjoy driving and working on this vehicle immensely and with the rising price of classic vehicles I intend to keep and treasure it as long as possible.
