History
Built by AMI Melbourne as a 1200cc Corolla CS Coupe. Boring!
Modifications
Engine: 4AG 1600 Twin Cam 16 valve with twin 40mmDCOE Weber carbs. Engine internals stock. Custom sports exhaust.
Front suspension: Celica struts with Koni adjustable dampers, K-mac adjustable strut top. TRD lengthened lower control arms with Pedders h/d anti roll bar and Cressida ventilated disc brakes. All Nolothane bushed.
Rear suspension: Corolla panel van h/d axle with LSD. Uprated spring leaves with Nolothane bushing. Whiteline anti roll bar. Pedders Sports Ryder h/d dampers.
Interior: 6 point roll cage, stripped out interior only retaining front passenger seat, roof lining door trims dash and centre console. Cobra race seat with 4 point harness. 3 point harness for passenger seat.
On track it runs 195/60x14 Yokohama A046 road competition tyres. A fun track day car, thats docile enough to potter around on the road.
Ultimate aim is to build it up as a TE37 replica as raced at Bathurst.
