History
Purchased brand new by my Grandfather in 1961. On his passing, I inherited the car at age 5. (No-one told me til I was 18). Had a complete full strip to the chassis restoration ~ 25 years ago. Needs another one now. Sadly, I needed to part with her. Like losing your first born. Donated to A Triumph Car Club, where it will be appreciated.
Modifications
Upgraded from original 948cc engine to the "1200". Spitfire front discs with Leyland Marina calipers. Koni front dampers. Diff from Triumph Spitfire, Gabriel sport rear dampers. Triumph TR7 factory alloy wheels 5.5 x 13. Car never had seatbelts as new, so a lap sash has been installed on passenger side, and a 4 point harness for driver. No seat belts in rear.
