Bought van 15 years ago from young student.
Joined Morris Minor Car Club of South Australia
Worked on restoring it as the money became available.
initially put in a 1275cc engine, yet found in unsatisfactory,
changed to a 1098cc engine a year ago.
All parts bought new from reputable Morris Minor companies.
Spent most of it time being meticulously restored to its original specifications (except the above). No body modifications
Modifications
5 speed Celica gearbox, dual brake system.
Escort Mk2 disc brakes on front, drum brakes on rear.
Heavy duty clutch.
45 Weber carburetor, extractors.
Wide aluminum radiator
Mazda 1986 steering column which allows all controls in one place.
New LED wiring and lights, fuses now under dashboard.
Heater.
