General information

This is a privately owned car used daily for travel between Mandurah and Perth and has travelled over 131,000 km over the last 41 months. The daily usage is between 200 Km and 300 Km. All energy has been offset by a 6 kilowatt home solar rooftop system that delivers around 3-5 kilowatt-hour continuously to the Western Power Grid during the day that is partially recovered after 9pm at night. The average capture is approx. 30-35 kilowatt-hour per day; for the daily usage this car needs only around 25 kilowatt-hour per day for the Mandurah to Perth round trip providing a net cash return from Synergy on a regular basis.

This car has travelled over 131,000 Km using power produced from the sun; the system has always offset any power from a coal based source.

The battery pack is expected to deliver a usable life over 200,000km (theoretical and could be much further). The replacement cells will extend the overall range to 640km per charge.
