History
This is a privately owned car used daily for travel between Mandurah and Perth and has travelled over 93,000 km over the last 26 months (since December 2011). The daily usage is between 200 Km and 250 Km. All energy has been offset by a 6 kilowatt home solar rooftop system that delivers around 3-5 kilowatt continuously to the Western Power Grid during the day that is partially recovered after 9pm at night. The average capture is approx. 30-35 kilowatt-hour per day; for the daily usage this car needs only around 26 kilowatt-hour per day for the Mandurah to Perth round trip providing a net cash return from Synergy on a regular basis.
This car has travelled over 93,000 Km using power produced from the sun; the car has never required power from a coal based source.
