History
This is one of 221 ever built - only around 29 RHD, of which only 7 are known to be used regularly. It was a special build by Zagato for Maserati based on the series 1 biturbo spyder. The original open top chassis wasn't strong enough for a powerful motor, so making a coupe allowed the 2.8 litre V6 to be fitted. It was the MC Stradale of its day!
Modifications
The car has the suspension, wheels and seats from a Ghibli Cup race car. The front air dam is from a Ghibli road car.
