Bought the car in 2009 off Ebay mainly because it was fairly rust free, unusual for an XD, had all rust removed and used as a daily driver till late 2014, got a little tired of the slightly underpowered 200 cube motor & decided to replace it ........ went overboard (as usual) and decided to rebuild the 289 I've had hanging around for about 20 years
Modifications
Tidy 289, done to Shelby 350 specs, 4 speed auto from a '92 Fairlane, 3.27 diff from an EB wagon (for the leaf springs) MSD and lotsa polished alloy brackets
