History
This CB900FA is a 1980 Model, first registered in 1981 and had travelled a mere 2,000 kilometres and was in as new condition when I purchased it in 1983. I rode it from Melbourne to the Australian Grand Prix at Bathurst in 1984 with 5 other buddies, all on CB900s, a CB750F2 and a 75 Gold Wing. Great memories of screaming down the outback highways and emptying a full fuel tank in 150 kilometres. They were thirsty beasts when ridden hard.
The bike was perfect, it handled well, had great power, a great seating position and was ultra reliable. A few years later, like most of us Punters I had to sell it and a couple of dirt bikes to raise a deposit on a house.
Modifications
Fork brace, Hondaline front crash bars. My brothers discarded bikini fairing of his Z1B for the trip to Bathurst.
