Bought this in 1984 when the Fiat got too small for two kids (2 of the3 on the roof).
Didn’t fall in love with it, but it gave no real trouble. Had the usual hunting issue with the "Traumatic" auto box when cold. The air con was never very good & I had to replace a starter motor, but other than that it did the job OK.
Modifications
Didn’t do much to it - black paint on window frames, grille & the panel between taillights. Painted the body below the moulding & bumper bars in silver which gave it a real lift.
Put some black vinyl spray on the centre console area to relieve some of that awful monotone red that Holden loved at the time.
Also treated it to a pair of driving lights (Can you tell I live in the country??)
