Bought to replace a TE Ford Cortina (early middle age crisis).
Worst car I've ever owned!!
A great idea let down in the execution.
Loved the look (still do), but awful driving position, heavy steering, woeful gear change. Oh! Did I mention the rust ?? At the TOP of the doors - unbelievable !!
Then had a fire under the dash - perfect !!
Swapped it for the Fiat 124 Sport that I wish I still had.
NB: Photos from Google - not my car, but identical but for upholstery.
