Bought to replace the MG"B" when it got too small.
My first brand new car - could only afford it because the Government lowered all the Import duties on foreign cars.
Absolutely loved it, started my Alfa fetish !!
Clutch packed it in on Anzac Parade in Kensington one Saturday morning in Sydney at about 40,000 km.
Skandia Motors in Kings X asked if I was from "The Country" as the city boys usually came in at about 20,000 for a new clutch !!! Thank God I'm a Country Boy (thanks to John Denver) Cost about $400.00 to fix - lots of money in 1977/78.
Finally, at wife's insistence, traded it in on a TE Cortina Ghia (I know, I know) after major gearbox issues.
