History
This vehicle has been in the family since new, my mother and father were the owners of Coventry Spares back in the day and dealers of British Leyland parts here in Australia. The body shell is actually THE LAST body out of the factory, production stopped in 78' and this was a special order vehicle for my father along with parts to assembly it. Hence why it is registered as a 83' model car. Could go on for a while with the story of this car but I won't. Not here anyway.
Modifications
It has had full bare metal restoration, full engine and driveline conversion consisting of a Toyota 1JZ engine 2.5L turbo inline 6. Bigger front brakes and rear disc brake conversion, custom fuel system, exhaust, intercooler and plumbing etc. just about everything has been changed other then interior and exterior appearance. I'm about 8 years into the restoration/build now as I have just done bits and pieces over the years but almost there now.
