Modifications
Southern Rod & Custom was responsible for the full rebuild. The chassis was treated to Airride programmable suspension, variable ratio Flaming River steering components. black powder The 20 x 10 Roulette billets on back and 18 x 8 on front were fitted with 285 and 233/40 series Kumo rubber. Behind the billet wheels rest the original pizza sized finned aluminium brake drums . The engine bay firewall was cleaned up and the new Vintage Air AC hoses plumbed through .
Motor is the legendary 401 Wildcat V8. It’s rated at 325 hp and a massive 455lb/ft torque. Offenhauser finned valley and rocker covers are used to dress up the Nailhead motor while a Clay Smith cam and Edelbrock carby help it breathe. MSD ignition components for the sparking stuff.
