"Dulcie"
Through my girlfriend’s brother, I rescued her (the car) from sitting under a possum-infested tree, after two or so years parked there it was well and truly time for a serious clean! Basically pulled many bits and pieces off, cleaned and installed. All fluids replaced and a bit of fine tuning and she was back on the road purring beautifully (after much time and effort between work/life).
I love the luxury, elegance, cruise-ability and comfy-ness ie. the back seat is a COUCH! :D
Not everyone’s cup-of-tea I’m sure, but I think that it’s just right.
Modifications
Just a few gizmos here and there.
- Head-unit
- Speakers front+back
- Amp+sub
- Under-car courtesy/puddle/gutter lights (fade out when the door is closed)
- New interior (couch-button seats!!!) from donor car.
- Bumper respray
- Yellow fog lights
No mechanical modifications (YET). Someone say 1JZ sleeper?
