Bought standard with after market stereo as a daily driven car. 6 months after purchase I blew a rear block seal. From there I rebuilt the engine to about what a stage 3 engine would be with help from another escort bloke. All suspension, brakes , bushes were upgraded.
Car went back on the road but only for a few weeks when I decided that it wasn’t complete. 4 years later I fixed the gear box shifter which required while engine to be removed. Rust has been cut and plated out of drives floor with new carpet placed in. All little tedious problems were seen to and she’s back in the road back as my daily. Just needs a fine tune and it’s finally done.

50 tho bored out from standard, 1mm over sized pistons,
Stage 3 head and cam package, Kent cams adjustable cam gear, double value springs with larger exhaust valves. ARP head studs, lightened flywheel with steel geared ring, stainless steels 4-2-1 extractors,2 1/4 exhaust system, twin 40mm side draft carbys,electronic dizzy eye. Battery relocated to the boot
Anti dive down bar, 2.4 steering rack, grp4 bilsten shocks, 50mm lowered king springs front and back , slotted and vented front discs with spaced out calipers. Neoprene bushes all round, some 13x6 minilite replica
