Bought him in 1978. Second owner. Australian assembled at AMI Melbourne. Driven for quite a few years until rust and vibration won the day. Then wife, kids, 18% mortgage and no garage put Spitty under a tarp.
Once through those interesting times we got serous and 7 years and much hard work later here he is.
Modifications
Minilite wheels.
Leather seats with LeMan’s wreath gold embroidery.
Fly Giallo paintwork.
Bespoke fibreglass spoiler and overriders.
Upgraded suspension and brakes.
Engine: alloy radiator, electric fan, electronic ignition, high compression head with bigger valves and seats modified for unleaded fuel, K&N air filters, stainless exhaust headers and system, bored to 1300cc, oil catch can, valve rocker oil feed.
All done by us in our garage except engine machining, painting and leather.
