History
Bought this car to race in Australian GT series in 2008. Very, very different to driving Porsches. Mid-engine gave it more balance, but it would also let go a lot quicker. The car needs to be driven smoothly. Porsche's love to be thrown around more. ABS and paddle-shift made it a very easy first car to go racing in a National Championship. Raced it at Clipsal, Grand Prix and Eastern Creek in GT Challenge. Finished 3rd, 4th and 2nd. Still got this one in the garage. Great value track car / race car for anyone who wants the real Ferrari experience for around $100k now.
Modifications
The 360 Challenge cars are left-hookers straight from Europe. The only things we really did to this one was add internal air-jacks, firebomb kit and Ohlin shocks. The noise at full revs is something to be experienced. It literally screams like an F1 car. Also lightened it a little using fibre glass pieces, taking as much weight out as possible.
