Searched for 3 years before finding this car. Wanted either the Presidential Blue or Racing Green used on Steve McQueen's Eleanor in BULLIT. 1968's are very hard to come by, and I think the GT is one of the best-looking cars they ever made. A bit bigger and heavier than the Pony's of '65 - '66, but still a beautiful car.
Modifications
Apart from stiffening up the suspension so it doesn't float all over the road, its all pretty much 100% original with matching numbers. 302 cu/in V8. Am now thinking about putting a 383 Stroker in it, stiffening it all up and turning into a street machine. But will crate the engine. They seem to be worth a lot more with original matching numbers.
