Bought 2nd hand by Dad in 1973. He wanted a ute & we looked at at some HR Holdens before he found the Austin.
One of the cars I learnt to drive in, first changing gear right handed then got behind the wheel.
Got pulled over at 14 driving it, so after that my road driving had to wait unitl I was 17! I don’t recall any issues with it, apart from the usual
issues in the wet, since the distributor was just behind the grill.
