History
Being from a family full of car enthusiasts I had no choice but to follow the tradition and build my own pride and joy.
I’ve always loved my classic V8s and 6cyl turbos such as XYs and VL Calais but I’ve always had that special place in my heart for the rotary engine.
I’ve always been a fan of that Mazda r100 and 1200 shape but when the Mazda 1300 fell in my hands I had to take the opportunity and buy it. Even the the 1300 came out with a piston engine it was only right for me to build it right and put a 13b Bridgeport in it.
That sound and pulse the rotary makes is very hard to beat and arguably one of the best sounding engines of all time.
