Ute was a 70’s show car which apparently featured in some car mag in the day, all the wiring was hidden, the engine bay was lined in black vinyl that followed the contours of the engine bay, the dash was padded, everything was upholstered and done extremely well. I bought it in 1993 unregistered in WA, with a 186s and triple webbers and the storey goes, it did a 14 second 1/4 mile.. we put a 202 in it and a 350 Holley, the original webbers can be found on a mates FC convertible in Perth. (The ‘other’ one) ��
Modifications
Sold the car in 1998 due to financial difficulties, yep regret it and always wonder if he’s still cruising, last I heard he was headed to cairns.. if you know his whereabouts let me know please
