History
The photograph ? The red one on the left...I also own the one on the right too (Green with white stripe...but thats a story for another day)..Car was purchased about 5 years ago. Formerly owned by a gentleman who lived on the coast...could no longer fit into the car. Too many Christmas lunches ??? Car was purchased and resprayed...some minor works completed. Interior is still original and in very good condition...but will be replaced over the next 12 months. Car is registered with the Capri Car Club too. Victorian Branch. Alas...work gets in the way of attending many driving events...soon !! Performance is outstanding. The Capri of this vintage is an underrated and undiscovered performance car, This model has 130,000 k’s on the clock. Spoke to a chap on the road, Friday the 30th of February, 2015...his has over 450,000 k’s...original engine and still performing well...car was very shiny too ! Very economical...400 k’s on a tank (45 lts)...city driving. Those are our two children. Michael on my right...then aged 18..Stephanie on my left then aged 15. Michael is now an airline pilot flying in Africa...The red car is now his...but still registered in my name. Stephanie is travelling and undertaking training in fitness and health. Mandy, my wife...in this instance ...taking this photograph and driving the red car on the day...not simultaneously of course !!
