History
This is the 9th hot rod I have built, it is 1934 Ford 5 window coupe, built at home in the garage.
Modifications
Original 1934 chassis, engine is a stroked 302 windsor & develops 418hp, transmission is a Ford C4 with stage 2 shift kit. 9 inch diff with trutrac centre running 3.5 to 1 gears, held in place with triangular 4 bar & coil over shocks.
Steering is via a Nissan 180b steering box, with an EA Falcon steering column. Gears shift is a floor mounted "Lokar" shifter. Fitted with Hyundai Getz bucket seats, & carpet on the floor. Classic gaugesare fitted in a 1933 Ford dash. Front axle is a 4 inch dropped I beam fitted with 1936 Ford stud axkes, XF Ford rotors & HZ Holden calipers. At the rear there are the original drum brakes.
Wire wheels fitted all round, 6 inch rims on the front with 165/80R15 tyres, & on the rear, 8 inch rims fitted with 265/70R15 tyres.
